Tamiya 1/24 Nissan Skyline 2000 Gt-R Plastic Model Kit

This is a 1/24 Plastic Nissan Horizon 2000 GT-R Hard Top from Tamiya.
For ages 10 and up.

During the 1960's, the Japanese racing scene was striving to overtake
high efficiency racing machines of European origin. One manufacturer called
Prince established the first Japanese model racing maker, called the R380.
With an effective in-line 6 cylinder DOHC engine installed amidships under a low
and sleek body, the R380 won the 1996 Japanese Grand Prix race occasion and
established several world speed records in the following year. The Prince
business merged with Nissan, and revealed an unique 4-door sedan Horizon design
during the 1968 Tokyo Motor Program. Priced at nearly double that of other
Skylines in the steady, it was transplanted with a de-tuned powerplant of the
R380
racer's unit. This hot-blooded Horizon was introduced into the market in
February 1969.
