VR5203 Dual Output Regulator...
The VR5203 offers regulated voltage security for as much as two servo functions with two input ports and two output ports. This unique element removes the risk of higher voltage power systems to basic voltage servos by being put between the receiver and the servo requiring regulation. This allows the remainder of the system to work at a wanted voltage.

Spektrum's Double Output Step Down Regulator is primarily created for usage with gyros in helicopters. A lot of brand names of gyros/ tail rotor servos have voltage limits of 6 volts or less. The Double Output Regulator installs in between the receiver and the gyro in the rudder and gain channels and regulates the voltage to the gyro and tail rotor servo to a consistent 5.2 volts. This allows the remainder of the system to run using higher voltage, generally 5-cell NiMH 6 volts or even 2-cell LiPo 7.4 volts, supplying increased servo efficiency and response.

Additional Applications

We have actually also discovered that there are numerous other gadgets that are generally used in designs which have voltage limits that the Double Output Regulator is perfect for. Some brand names of retract servos (consisting of the JR791) have a minimal voltage range and setting up the Double Output Regulator inline in between the servo and the receiver allows the retract servo to work properly.

The Double Voltage Regulator is restricted to 2 amps of continuous existing. It is created to set up in between the receiver and the gyro, operating the gyro and tail rotor servo just (or other control gadgets like a retract servo, electronic switch, etc.).

It is not meant to be set up in between the battery and the receiver to power the entire system.
