Spektrum™ S155 G2 1x55W AC Smart Charger
The Spektrum™ S155 charger makes innovative, easy to use Smart charging technology economical for any RC enthusiast. It's an exceptional choice for cost-conscious brand-new drivers who want the safe and easy operation that just a Smart charger can offer. Compatible with 4S LiPo, LiFe, Li-Ion, or LiHV batteries as well as 1-12S NiMH and NiCd packs, the 55-watt S155 charger can be used with all popular RC battery types (though just Smart batteries take full advantage of the charger's innovative features). It includes ports for IC3® and IC5® connectors, so no different adapters are needed to charge most Smart batteries. Generation 2 Smart technology allows the S155 to charge and stabilize Smart G2 batteries utilizing one easy connection. No different balance lead is needed. When connected to a Smart battery, its Auto Charge feature recognizes the appropriate charging parameters immediately and begins safe, proper charging — automatically.

In order to offer the most problem-free charging experience, the Spektrum™ S155 Smart AC Battery charger includes a color LCD screen with enhanced menus, icons, and navigation tools. Its intuitive user interface allows users to keep track of charging development and make setting modifications with ease. An on-screen clock counts the minutes in real time until your Smart battery is completely charged and all set to use. When it's time to upgrade the charger firmware, that's easy, too. A USB input port is conveniently situated on the front of the case. No special cables are required. Other handy features of the Spektrum™ S155 Smart AC Battery charger include a sleep mode and a removable AC power cable. For example, Spektrum™ Smart G2 technology makes stabilizing charge your LiPo batteries a lot easier. Stabilizing information travels through the special data wire of each Smart G2 battery's innovative IC3® connector. As an outcome, just a single connection is needed — no different balance lead is required.

Smart G2 batteries originate from the factory programmed to discharge automatically to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72 hours of inactivity. The benefits include longer battery life, better performance over the life of the pack, and the peace of mind that originates from understanding your Smart battery is maintenance-free. You can change the battery's Auto Storage settings based upon your choices. G2 batteries also offer a storage discharge rate that's three times faster than the previous G1 Smart batteries.

As with other Smart batteries, you'll never have to set your charging choices for a Spektrum™ Smart G2 battery until you wish to. When a Smart G2 LiPo battery is connected to a Spektrum™ Smart charger, its special charging parameters and health information upload to the charger from the battery's integrated memory microchip.
