Smart Battery Technology
When linked to a Spektrum™ Smart battery charger, a Smart battery's special parameters, health, and balancing info upload automatically from its memory microchip through the IC3® or IC5® connector's data wire. To charge and balance the pack, you just connect it to your Smart battery charger. Safe charging starts automatically. Smart Car storage discharge makes sure a longer battery life.
 

Smart Car Storage Discharge
Spektrum™ Smart G2 batteries almost take care of themselves. G2 batteries originate from the factory configured to automatically release to a safe storage voltage of 3.90V after 72 hours of inactivity. The results are longer battery life, much better efficiency over the life of the pack and assurance that your Smart battery comes maintenance-free.
 





 




Simple and Quick
Preset charge, discharge, and storage parameters are automatically communicated from your Spektrum™ Smart battery to your Smart battery charger, making charging as easy as plugging in the pack. The battery's incorporated microchip keeps in mind the last charging rate you set, so the next time you plug it in, these settings will automatically take effect.
