Product Summary
Like its predecessor, the AR637T features built in AS3X Technology, and now pilots can establish and program SAFE Technology to their airplane. AS3X Technology (3-axis stabilization) works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of turbulence so you delight in a sense of stability and accuracy that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger, expertly tuned airplane. SAFE Technology uses an extra level of security so that RC flying is much easier than ever in the past. When activated, bank and pitch restrictions keep you from over-controlling and automated self-leveling makes healing from dangerous or complicated attitudes as easy as launching the sticks. Shows and set up of AS3X and SAFE is done straight from your Spektrum transmitter* with an easy 3-step forward setting initial setup. To use SAFE and AS3X innovation with the AR637T receiver, the receiver needs to be set up with a compatible Spektrum transmitter. With forward setting there is no need for apps or cables to program or make modifications while at the flying field.
The AR637T features full range telemetry with an incorporated barometer to supply elevation and vario telemetry data without additional sensing units. Extra telemetry devices such as voltage sensing units can be connected to the volt port and XBus telemetry sensing units can be connected through the XBus adapter. It likewise features an SRXL2 port for an SRXL2 Remote Receiver to include additional RF path redundancy (sold independently). An SRXL2 port is readily available to link compatible devices, program and update the receiver, and bind with a standard bind plug or link a battery. The AR637T works and ready-to-use with the Spektrum Smart ESC for even much easier one-wire telemetry data. The AR637T receiver throttle port includes Smart Throttle. When geared up with Smart Throttle the standard servo adapter provides the throttle signal to the ESC, plus the ESC can send out telemetry data back to the receiver. The throttle port will automatically find when a Smart throttle compatible ESC is plugged in and the throttle port will start to run in Smart Throttle mode.
No more bind plugs! Rather, a large bind button is used to enter the bind mode. All combined the Spektrum AR637T provides you more in a 6-channel receiver than ever in the past, so that you can fly with the highest sense of self-confidence possible and have more fun.
