Introduction
The Spektrum AR630 AS3X Telemetry Receiver is a DSM2 and DSMX capable receiver. Its compact footprint is developed to fit in a wide range of airplane models including park leaflets and larger sport models. The AR630 is a full range 6-channel receiver with integrated in AS3X and SAFE stabilization, which counters the effects of wind, turbulence and torque utilizing 3-axis MEMS gyro and exclusive flight control software application tuned by professional RC pilots. There is no delay in control reaction or limitations on control tosses. You'll just seem like you're flying a skillfully tuned design that does exactly what you want.

Overview
The AR630 includes fly-by range telemetry and a bind button that makes it easy to bind without any plugs necessary and offers both SmartSafe innovation and Hold Last along with pre-programmed failsafe types set through forward shows. The AR630 also includes Smart Telemetry support.
With Smart Technology the regular servo connector provides the throttle signal to the ESC, plus the ESC can send telemetry information like voltage and present back to the receiver. The AR630 receiver throttle port (Channel 1 port just) will immediately identify when a Smart compatible ESC is connected. ESCs with Smart and IC series ports can also pass along battery information from compatible Spektrum Smart batteries. Spektrum Bird™ ESCs are compatible with the AR630 receiver for Smart Technology features.
For Smart to work you should have a Smart ESC paired with a Smart telemetry receiver, and a Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. An upgrade for your transmitter may be needed for Smart functions. See www.spektrumrc. com to sign up and upgrade your transmitter. If a basic ESC or servo is plugged into the throttle port on the AR630 receiver, the throttle port will run usually (PWM signal) like any standard RC system.

SAFE® (Sensing unit Assisted Flight Envelope) innovation flight modes assist pilots avoid over-controlling their models. SAFE uses AS3X to deliver regular flight performance, however with minimal bank and pitch angles to prevent the airplane from getting in extreme mindsets.
 





Antenna-less
The AR630 includes an internal antenna style that offers remarkable full-range performance. In addition, installation is much easier than ever, plus there's no longer a risk of failure due to long-lasting wire exposure or abuse.
 

Forward Setting
You can set up the AR630 receiver wirelessly, directly from any compatible Spektrum™ transmitter, through the Forward Programming menu. No separate computer or mobile device is required for setup and adjustments.
 





 



SMART TELEMETRY
To delight in the complete benefits of Smart™ innovation, utilize the AR630 receiver with a Smart ESC and telemetry capable Spektrum DSMX® transmitter. The AR630 includes fly-by telemetry and will offer important telemetry information such as present, voltage, temperature and RPM is sent out directly to your transmitter.
