Introduction
The Spektrum AR630 AS3X Telemetry Receiver is a DSM2 and DSMX capable receiver. Its compact footprint is created to fit in a vast array of airplane designs including park flyers and larger sport designs. The AR630 is a complete range 6-channel receiver with built in AS3X and SAFE stabilization, which counters the impacts of wind, turbulence and torque utilizing 3-axis MEMS gyro and special flight control software tuned by professional RC pilots. There is no hold-up in control reaction or limits on control throws. You'll simply seem like you're flying a skillfully tuned model that does exactly what you want.

Overview
The AR630 includes fly-by range telemetry and a bind button that makes it easy to bind with no plugs required and offers both SmartSafe technology and Hold Last in addition to preset failsafe types set through forward programs. The AR630 also includes Smart Telemetry support.
With Smart Innovation the normal servo port delivers the throttle signal to the ESC, plus the ESC can send out telemetry information like voltage and present back to the receiver. The AR630 receiver throttle port (Channel 1 port just) will automatically identify when a Smart compatible ESC is connected. ESCs with Smart and IC series adapters can also pass along battery information from compatible Spektrum Smart batteries. Spektrum Bird™ ESCs are compatible with the AR630 receiver for Smart Innovation features.
For Smart to function you must have a Smart ESC coupled with a Smart telemetry receiver, and a Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. An upgrade for your transmitter might be needed for Smart functions. See www.spektrumrc. com to sign up and update your transmitter. If a standard ESC or servo is plugged into the throttle port on the AR630 receiver, the throttle port will operate usually (PWM signal) like any standard RC system.

SAFE® (Sensing unit Assisted Flight Envelope) technology flight modes assist pilots avoid over-controlling their designs. SAFE uses AS3X to deliver normal flight performance, however with minimal bank and pitch angles to avoid the airplane from getting in extreme mindsets.

The AR630 includes an internal antenna style that offers remarkable full-range performance. In addition, setup is simpler than ever, plus there's no longer a threat of failure due to long-term wire direct exposure or abuse.
 

Forward Configuring
You can configure the AR630 receiver wirelessly, directly from any compatible Spektrum™ transmitter, through the Forward Shows menu. No different computer or mobile device is required for setup and modifications.
 





 



SMART TELEMETRY
To delight in the full benefits of Smart™ technology, use the AR630 receiver with a Smart ESC and telemetry capable Spektrum DSMX® transmitter. The AR630 includes fly-by telemetry and will provide vital telemetry information such as present, voltage, temperature level and RPM is sent out directly to your transmitter.
