Introduction
The Spektrum AR630 AS3X Telemetry Receiver is a DSM2 and DSMX capable receiver. Its compact footprint is developed to fit in a large range of aircraft designs including park leaflets and bigger sport designs. The AR630 is a complete variety 6-channel receiver with built in AS3X and SAFE stabilization, which counters the effects of wind, turbulence and torque using 3-axis MEMS gyro and exclusive flight control software application tuned by professional RC pilots. There is no hold-up in control action or limits on control throws. You'll just feel like you're flying a skillfully tuned design that does precisely what you want.

Overview
The AR630 includes fly-by variety telemetry and a bind button that makes it simple to bind without any plugs needed and uses both SmartSafe innovation and Hold Last along with predetermined failsafe types set through forward programs. The AR630 also includes Smart Telemetry support.
With Smart Technology the regular servo port provides the throttle signal to the ESC, plus the ESC can send telemetry information like voltage and current back to the receiver. The AR630 receiver throttle port (Channel 1 port just) will automatically identify when a Smart compatible ESC is connected. ESCs with Smart and IC series connectors can also pass along battery information from compatible Spektrum Smart batteries. Spektrum Bird™ ESCs are compatible with the AR630 receiver for Smart Technology features.
For Smart to work you should have a Smart ESC paired with a Smart telemetry receiver, and a Spektrum DSMX transmitter with telemetry. An update for your transmitter may be required for Smart features. See www.spektrumrc. com to register and upgrade your transmitter. If a standard ESC or servo is plugged into the throttle port on the AR630 receiver, the throttle port will run generally (PWM signal) like any traditional RC system.

SAFE® Technology
SAFE® (Sensing unit Assisted Flight Envelope) innovation flight modes help pilots prevent over-controlling their designs. SAFE usages AS3X to deliver regular flight performance, but with limited bank and pitch angles to prevent the aircraft from getting in severe mindsets.
 





Antenna-less
The AR630 includes an internal antenna design that uses superior full-range performance. In addition, setup is easier than ever, plus there's no longer a threat of failure due to long-lasting wire direct exposure or abuse.
 

Forward Setting
You can set up the AR630 receiver wirelessly, directly from any compatible Spektrum™ transmitter, through the Forward Programming menu. No separate computer system or mobile device is needed for setup and modifications.
 





 



SMART TELEMETRY
To enjoy the complete benefits of Smart™ innovation, utilize the AR630 receiver with a Smart ESC and telemetry capable Spektrum DSMX® transmitter. The AR630 includes fly-by telemetry and will provide crucial telemetry information such as current, voltage, temperature level and RPM is sent out directly to your transmitter.
