RPM Black Esc Cage For The Castle Sidewinder 4 Esc

This lightweight Sidewinder 4 ESC Cage suits the stock location on the Traxxas Slash 2wd, Slash 2wd LCG, Slash 4x4, Slash 4x4 LCG, Stampede 4x & Rally, while also dealing with other Traxxas 1/10th scale vehicles.

This cage allows the ESC to be kept up or without a fan. It encloses the ESC body only, leaving the entire ESC fan free to do its job. Castle did a terrific job with air flow through the Sidewinder 4, and the RPM ESC cage enhances that free-flowing air motion. Air channels along both sides of the ESC allow air motion along the sides of the case, while the low profile sides leave all the integrated air vents on the ESC free and clear to stream air properly.

Each ESC Cage is designed to streamline ESC setup and maintenance of the car. Two screws hold the entire assembly to the chassis, that's it! No more struggling with gooey double-sided tape to remove the ESC to clean your car or move the electronics to another car.

Also consisted of is a separate, encased on/off switch install that bolts directly to the cage in among 4 locations/orientations for extreme adaptability. Because the switch connects to the cage, no extra time is had to eliminate it throughout maintenance or if you choose to switch the ESC in between vehicles.
