The skeletonized style grants it with an overall weight of 92g (Rail Mount) and 104g (Keymod); making the grip very light-weight. Even with its distinct angled skeletonized style, the PTS Fortis Vertical Grip still preserves the same length as any conventional vertical grip. The grip allows users to use the older boxing design grip as well as the more recent thumb break approach or as a hand stop. The angled style as well as the finger notch allows for ergonomic versatility, accepting making use of their forefinger (conventional approach), ring finger (thumb break approach) or pinky finger (hand stop approach).
