The ProTek R/C LiFe Automobile Transmitter Battery Load is meant for usage with the Futaba 4PK, 4PV and 4PX Transmitters. Lithium battery technology is progressing. With cell measurements that fit anywhere a basic Li-Po battery will and rapidly increasing capacity, LiFe chemistry will soon set the requirement that others are evaluated by. With the capability to deliver 1000+ usable cycles, and a life expectancy up to 4 times longer than Li-Poly batteries (when cycled under the same discharge conditions), these batteries provide the user an exceptional balance of efficiency and worth. LiFe batteries are more long lasting than Li-Poly and are able to handle a greater level of abuse when compared with Li-Poly without the threat of pre-mature failure. Unlike Li-Poly, LiFe cells can be saved in a totally charged state with little to no loss in saved power, and can be released deeper with less threat of damage to the cells. Most notably, LiFe batteries are SAFE! There is no threat of combustion! LiFe cells will not ignite or explode when over charged, or after a deep discharge.
