Racers Edge shock oil is made from 100% pure silicone oil and will not thin out in heat or thicken up in winter. The greater the weight variety of the oil, the more damping your shocks will have when riding over bumps.

It is not recommened to mix oils of different brand names, as the thickness of oils from different vendors of the very same weight rating might vary! Stick to one brand name for all your oils, so that you will have a reproducible setup if you have to reconstruct your shocks.
