The E-flite® Viper 90mm EDF Jet is the Smartest, best handling, and simplest to fly massive design of the popular jet yet! It's a scale jet that flies efficiently and handles like a sport airplane — yet is also capable of extraordinary aerobatics and top speeds! But what really sets it apart is how simple it is to take off, fly, and land, that makes it the very best choice for a first massive jet design. Assembly is quick and simple, without any glue needed. The lightweight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now renowned Airplane Studio Style trim plan from the popular 70mm design. And the eight factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages, plus control surfaces with pinned hinges, deliver crisp and precise control at every speed. Functional features consist of flaps, LED landing and navigation lights, and electrical retracts with shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts on the nose and main equipment so you can fly from grass and other surfaces with ease.

The BNF® Standard variation includes a 12-blade 90mm fan, effective 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Bird™ Smart ESC that all interact with the expertly optimized ducting to deliver an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like sound. With this power system, the Viper 90mm is capable of level flight tops speeds as much as 120+ MPH and uses excellent vertical efficiency with SIX 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also geared up with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver featuring exclusive AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies. When using suitable transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, present, motor RPM and other telemetry information in real-time — in addition to optional-use motor reversing to reduce rollouts after landing and for other special ground managing capabilities. An ARF Plus variation is also readily available for pilots who choose to install their own choice of ducted fan system, motor and ESC. In either case, for low-time to skilled jet pilots this design delivers a massive EDF experience unlike any other!





 






Exclusive Technologies
This massive Viper design is geared up with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the impacts of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it look like you're flying an even bigger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select uses pitch and bank angle limitations in addition to automatic self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch to make this an easier to fly Viper! And if you do not wish to allow the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver generally and only AS3X will be active.
 









Smart™ Technology
The exclusive Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart ESC offers a range of real-time power system related telemetry information consisting of motor RPM, present draw, general flight battery voltage and more by means of suitable Smart receivers (consisting of the AR637TA installed in the BNF® Standard variation) and Spektrum AirWare™ geared up transmitters (consisting of the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly.
