Introduction

From Pearl Harbor through 1942, the F4F Wildcat was the only U.S. fighter in the Pacific theater capable of preventing the advances of Japan’s marine flying force. And though it was slower and less maneuverable than the vaunted Absolutely no, the rugged Wildcat helped a competent pilot get rid of the performance space and live to fight another day.

The classic ParkZone® F4F 1.0m Wildcat parkflyer returns as a great flying warbird you can delight in nearly anywhere. Imitated a plane flown by Lieutenant Leader Edward “Butch” O’Hare—the United States Navy’s first flying ace—a legendary warbird comes to life with authentic detail such as a realistic paint plan, simulated engine and cowl flaps, molded wheels tucked into the fuselage and more. Its flight performance is similarly outstanding thanks to the full 4-channel control and sufficient power provided by its 480-size brushless motor system.

Fast Assembly
Out of the box, final attachment of the horizontal stabilizer and two-piece, plug-in wing is easy. Each wing panel includes a devoted aileron servo for problem-free control that’s precise.

Durable Building
Building with long lasting EPO product makes it possible to duplicate complicated detail in a light-weight kind. The result is an exceptional scale look that’s easy to preserve and allows the most satisfying flight experience possible to shine through.

Brushless Power
The effective 480-size brushless outrunner motor installed functions 960Kv and delivers smooth operation that’s surprisingly quiet. Outstanding flight times and strong performance can be anticipated with THREE Li-Po battery packs from 1300–2200mAh (EFLB18003S30, recommended).

AS3X Receiver with Optional SAFE Select Technology
The model’s AS3X® (Synthetic Stabilization – 3-aXis) receiver works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of wind and turbulence. The result is a sense of stability and accuracy that makes you feel like you’re flying a skillfully tuned aircraft.

If you’re a reasonably brand-new pilot or want an extra margin of safety while familiarizing yourself with the airplane, you can enable the optional SAFE® Select innovation built into the receiver. No shows is required. Simply change up the binding sequence as directed in the manual.

With SAFE Select flight support allowed, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These keep the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent extreme climb or dive angles during launch and landing.

Automatic Self-Leveling
Immediately returns the wings to level when the sticks are released. It’s also useful when hand releasing the airplane.

Easy Switch Project—No Shows Needed
The easy treatment for assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select functions on and off doesn't require any shows and takes just a couple of seconds.

If you don’t wish to enable the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver normally and it will work like a basic AS3X receiver.

Bind-N-Fly® Variation
Already own a transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) airplane make entering the air quickly and with the very best control experience possible easier than ever. They come out of the box with the servos, power system and a Spektrum™ 2.4GHz receiver installed, so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible Spektrum transmitter, finish any final assembly and fly!
