After more than Thirty Years since the initial release in 1986, this electric off-road competition model has been recreated as the 6th model in the Kyosho Vintage Series. Incorporating a resin pipe-frame body looking like the ingenious aluminum pipeline frame body of the 1/8 scale Land Dive engine powered buggy, the new Javelin includes the tested efficiency of double wishbone suspension with a narrow backbone-style skid frame that delivers perfect geometry for wide-angled steering. This integrates with the Javelin's remarkable sealed compartment 4WD chain-drive system to produce outstanding efficiency and durability. At the heart of the external features that consistently represent the image of the Javelin of Thirty Years ago, this Vintage Series variation is packed with modern-day racing efficiency potential and works with modern-day source of power. At the heart of the drive system is a counter equipment equipped with slipper function and a last equipment case made from metal to enhance its load bearing capability. The adoption of accuracy 48-pitch equipment modules reduces power loss and the ideal mix of nylon and sintered alloy delivers both enhanced drive performance and decreased noise. In addition to chain drive, the drive system can likewise be changed to a belt system, which was optional in the initial model. Likewise, the big diameter aluminum shocks, recreated in the initial style, combine with long stroke suspension to provide increased efficiency potential.
