Brought forth by MSH - the makers of the 'Brain' - the iKon represents a brand-new leap in flybarless control. Bert Kammerer, in cooperation with MSH, worked relentlessly to tweak the iKon flybarless controller to perfection. Every element of firmware has been fine-tuned and enhanced, and in the end, we can say this system just has no equivalent on the market today. The iKon prepares to change everything. Prepare for the iKon - it's prepared for you.

Vibration Resistant - Bad Vibes Goodbye.
Simply put, gyros hate vibration, when a flybarless system is delicate to vibration, this has a direct impact on flight performance. The iKon flybarless unit makes use of new vibration dampening technology to isolate vibrations and put them in their location. This results in rock strong flight with absolutely nothing however true, direct flight performance that you can see and feel.

Streamlined Setup - The Wizard is Here.
Nothing is more irritating, frustrating and time consuming than fumbling with handbooks, setup videos and tech help when it comes to appropriate flybarless setup. No more - the wizard takes control. Utilizing an easy to follow and fuss complimentary setup, the iKon takes a simplified approach to flybarless setup, enabling you to invest less time tuning and more time flying - just the way it must be.

Car Level Innovation - This is It.
That sickening crash can now be put behind you with car level technology. For anyone still finding out the basics, or those pressing new 3D limitations, the car level technology constructed within the iKon will revolutionize the way you fly, enabling you to push the limitations with less danger of crashing. This technology is among the several factors that make the iKon so unique, enabling a recovery from any orientation, no matter if the airplane is best side up or upside down. Unlike other "bail out" technologies, the iKon "understands" how the airplane is orientated, enabling a best side up recuperate every time. Even more, with car level technology, the airplane will stay level, enabling those very first couple of training flights to be truly remarkable - in a great way.

Satellite & S-Bus Ready - It's Your Choice.
Allowing the benefit of satellite technology, the iKon supports Spektrum DSM2 & DSMX satellite receivers, along with S-Bus technology via Futaba. On the Spektrum side, (2) satellite ports are offered for optimum redundancy & course variety, matched for helicopters 500 sized and greater.

Built in Governor - Set Your Speed & Flight Mode.
Utilizing a transmitter selectable governor, the iKon brings compact flybarless technology to every level of the helicopter, enabling you to dial because ideal rotor speed that suits your style, all at the flip of a switch. Incorporating a selectable (3) change flight mode program, the iKon enables you to dial in your helicopter with fully adjustable flight mode parameters to get the very best from every flight. No more secondary devices required on your device - the iKon manages it all.

So how does it compare to other systems? (From RCHeli Nation Review)

"As most of you know most of my flying has been on either a BeastX or a V-Bar, so these are the systems I will be straight comparing with the iKON. I will start off with the BeastX. In my viewpoint, the iKON is way ahead of the BeastX in terms of flying qualities and the functions it provides. Please do not think I am saying the BeastX is a bad unit. It fits, It is easy to setup and will fly great best our of the box, which is great for anyone who wants to keep it easy of for those just beginning with flybarless. Once you advance enough to the point where you desire more functions though, I feel the iKON is an excellent next choice.

Now for the big one, comparing it to my V-Bars. In the end, in my mind I now consider these systems to be.wait for it.equal! In terms of the software utilized for programming, the V-Bar is the clear winner, however taking a look at the flight performance and functions, the decision becomes a lot more hard. When comparing the performance in terms of cyclic and tail I would say these systems are so close it is difficult to even tell them apart when flying them. They both give you a very exact secured feel, and are very tunable for all flying designs. Both can be tuned to the point where there are no unfavorable tendencies. For people who fly faster then me, this argument may not hold true, however this is exactly what I discovered.

Now, when it comes to functions I have to say the iKON is the winner for me. It has an internal governor, which is easy to wire because there are many ports on the unit.not the case with the Mini V-Bar. Due to this I have actually never even utilized the internal governor on the Mini V-Bar because it is unworthy the circuitry catastrophe this develops. The final thing is the bailout. There is no competitors, as the V-Bar does not have a comparable feature. When you combine all this with the significantly lower rate of the iKON, in my viewpoint, the iKON comes out equivalent if not slightly ahead of the V-Bar."
