"As most of you understand the majority of my flying has been on either a BeastX or a V-Bar, so these are the devices I will be straight comparing to the iKON. I will begin off with the BeastX. In my opinion, the iKON is method ahead of the BeastX in terms of flying attributes and the features it provides. Please don't believe I am saying the BeastX is a bad system. It has its place, It is simple to setup and will fly great right our of the box, which is great for anybody who wishes to keep it basic of for those just beginning with flybarless. When you advance enough to the point where you want more features however, I feel the iKON is a great next option.

Now for the big one, comparing it to my V-Bars. In the end, in my mind I now think about these devices to be.wait for it.equal! In terms of the software used for shows, the V-Bar is the clear winner, but taking a look at the flight efficiency and features, the choice becomes much more hard. When comparing the efficiency in terms of cyclic and tail I would say these devices are so close it is hard to even inform them apart when flying them. They both offer you a very accurate secured feel, and are very tunable for all flying styles. Both can be tuned to the point where there are no unfavorable tendencies. For individuals who fly harder then me, this argument may not hold true, but this is exactly what I found.

Now, when it comes to features I have to say the iKON is the winner for me. It has an internal guv, which is simple to wire considering that there are many ports on the unit.not the case with the Mini V-Bar. Due to this I have actually never ever even used the internal guv on the Mini V-Bar considering that it is unworthy the electrical wiring catastrophe this creates. The last thing is the bailout. There is no competitors, as the V-Bar does not have a comparable function.
