Based upon the North American Aviation aircraft that functioned as a military trainer for nearly Thirty Years, the HobbyZone® T-28 Trojan S makes it simple to learn to fly RC successfully in more locations than ever before. Its ultra-micro size, light-weight, and resilient airframe enable it to be flown in little parks, large backyards as well as inside over a basketball court. With SAFE® (Sensing unit Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, you can teach yourself to fly in multiple modes, from Beginner to Experienced, and instantly go back to stable flight utilizing the Panic Recovery trigger in any flight mode. Most importantly, it takes practically no time and effort to get flying which permits experienced pilots more opportunities to get behind the sticks. The T-28 Trojan S shows up entirely factory-assembled and prepared to fly right out of package – no setup required! This Bind-N-Fly® Fundamental version permits you to utilize your own Spektrum™ DX4e or better transmitter, and requires a 150mAh 1S 3.7V LiPo battery and charger (sold independently).
Horizon Hobby-exclusive SAFE technology avoids over-control and crashing while also using multiple modes that deliver more control as your abilities development:

Beginner Mode
Pitch and bank angle limitations prevent over-control that can result in a loss of orientation and crashes. When the control sticks are released the plane go back to level flight by itself. Most importantly launches are as easy as offering complete throttle and letting the plane fly off a smooth surface or by offering it a quick hand launch, and landings are as simple as decreasing the throttle and letting it move to a landing on its own.

Intermediate Mode
More liberty in pitch and bank, but still avoids over-control and does not go back to level flight by itself. This mode permits you to make tighter turns in smaller locations and to climb and come down quicker as your abilities advance.

Experienced Mode
No pitch or bank angle limitations so you have total control! You can even fly inverted/upside down and perform aerobatic maneuvers consisting of loops, rolls, stall turns and more. And if you ever lose orientation or control you can activate the self-leveling Panic Recovery Mode by releasing the control sticks and pressing the trigger on the transmitter.

Probably one of the best flight attitude's from anything I have ever flown. When safe is egaged, it would take a hurricane to bring this plane down. While not so acrobatic, it's just a pleasure to fly. It's so small, any field is sufficient. Not only did I pretty much learn to fly on this one; it is still one of my favorites.
