Based on the North American Air travel airplane that functioned as a military trainer for almost 30 years, the HobbyZone® T-28 Trojan S makes it simple to learn how to fly RC successfully in more locations than ever before. Its ultra-micro size, lightweight, and resilient airframe allow it to be flown in little parks, large backyards and even indoors over a basketball court. With SAFE® (Sensing unit Assisted Flight Envelope) innovation, you can teach yourself to fly in several modes, from Beginner to Experienced, and quickly return to consistent flight utilizing the Panic Healing trigger in any flight mode. Best of all, it takes almost no time at all and effort to obtain flying which allows experienced pilots more chances to obtain behind the sticks. The T-28 Trojan S shows up entirely factory-assembled and prepared to fly right out of the box – no setup needed! This Bind-N-Fly® Standard version allows you to utilize your own Spektrum™ DX4e or better transmitter, and needs a 150mAh ONE 3.7V LiPo battery and charger (offered separately).
Horizon Hobby-exclusive SAFE innovation prevents over-control and crashing while likewise using several modes that deliver more control as your abilities development:

Beginner Mode
Pitch and bank angle limitations prevent over-control that can result in a loss of orientation and crashes. When the control sticks are launched the aircraft go back to level flight on its own. Best of all launches are as easy as giving complete throttle and letting the aircraft fly off a smooth surface area or by giving it a quick hand launch, and landings are as simple as decreasing the throttle and letting it slide to a landing on its own.

Intermediate Mode
More flexibility in pitch and bank, however still prevents over-control and does not return to level flight on its own. This mode allows you to make tighter turns in smaller locations and to climb up and descend much faster as your abilities advance.

Experienced Mode
No pitch or bank angle limitations so you have total control! You can even fly inverted/upside down and perform aerobatic maneuvers consisting of loops, rolls, stall turns and more. And if you ever lose orientation or control you can trigger the self-leveling Panic Healing Mode by releasing the control sticks and pressing the trigger on the transmitter.

Probably one of the best flight attitude's from anything I have ever flown. When safe is egaged, it would take a hurricane to bring this plane down. While not so acrobatic, it's just a pleasure to fly. It's so small, any field is sufficient. Not only did I pretty much learn to fly on this one; it is still one of my favorites.
