If this is your first RC aircraft, Horizon Hobby-exclusive SAFE (Sensing Unit Helped Flight Envelope) innovation avoids over-control and crashes. It also provides multiple flight modes to deliver more control and abilities as your abilities advance at the flip of a switch:

Newbie Mode

In this flight mode, the aircraft has pitch (up/down) and bank (left/right) angle limits that avoid over-control which could lead to a loss of orientation and crashes. When the control sticks are released, the aircraft automatically returns to level flight allowing you to relax and delight in merely 'steering' the aircraft through the sky. Best of all, departures are as simple as providing complete throttle and letting the aircraft fly off an appropriate surface, or by providing it a quick hand launch over surface areas such as lawn, and landings are as easy as lowering the throttle and letting it slide to a landing by itself.


 

Intermediate Mode

This flight mode allows more liberty in pitch and bank, but still avoids significant over-control and the aircraft does not go back to level flight by itself. This allows you to make tighter turns and to climb and come down quicker as your abilities advance.


 

Knowledgeable Mode

In this flight mode there are no pitch or bank angle limitations so you have complete control! You can even fly inverted (upside down) and carry out aerobatic maneuvers including loops, rolls, stall turns and more.


 

 

Panic Healing

If you lose control of the aircraft in the Intermediate or Knowledgeable flight modes, merely activate the Panic Healing mode with the push of a button and launch the control sticks. SAFE innovation will automatically return the aircraft to level flight.
