Whether you’ve never flown RC prior to or you got your first taste of flying with a multirotor drone, the revolutionary Carbon Cub S+ is the most flexible, capable and easiest to fly RC airplane yet. Based on the Carbon Cub by Cub Crafters, an updated and thoroughly modern-day version of the classic Super Cub, and geared up with Horizon Hobby's special and ingenious SAFE® Plus GPS-enabled drone innovation, this scale recreation makes it simpler to learn to fly in less time than before. Advanced functions consisting of AutoLand, Holding Pattern and Virtual Fence make it simple for practically anybody to fly successfully from their initial flight, while additional functions consisting of extra-large tundra tires and optional flaps and drifts offer the ability and flexibility to fly from practically any surface area, anywhere.

SAFE Plus functions and functions consist of:

When triggered after holding down a button, the sophisticated AutoLand function puts the Carbon Cub S+ on a supported method to autonomously land near the GPS initialization point. You can even supply some directional guidance to avoid obstacles or to change the method while letting the system do the rest to perform a safe landing. As your abilities development and you acquire more confidence you can take over more of the control inputs, eventually learning how to land without any assistance from the automatic system at all.

Holding Pattern
This handy SAFE Plus special feature lets you essentially "stop briefly" a flight by putting the airplane into a GPS-guided holding pattern. When triggered after the fast press of a button, the airplane will automatically return to a position above the GPS initialization point and circle up until the command is cancelled. It's an excellent method to safely hand the controls to a friend or to gain back visual contact if you ever lose sight of the model.

Virtual Fence
It's simple to mistakenly let an RC airplane fly too far away, but with Virtual Fence worry no more since it develops an unnoticeable boundary the airplane won't fly past. When the airplane reaches this boundary it will automatically turn around and fly back toward the GPS initialization point, then it will wag the wings to let you understand when you have control again.

Panic Recovery
If you ever lose control of the airplane in the more advanced control modes just switch to Newbie Mode and launch the control sticks. SAFE® Plus innovation will automatically return the airplane to level flight.

Beginner Mode
Pitch and bank angle limits prevent over-control that can result in a loss of orientation and crashes. When the control sticks are launched the airplane returns to level flight by itself. Best of all launches are as easy as giving full throttle and letting the airplane fly off the ground or by giving it a quick hand launch.

Intermediate Mode
More liberty in pitch and bank, but still prevents over-control and does not return to level flight by itself. This mode enables you to make tighter turns and to climb up and come down faster as your abilities advance. Newbie mode automatically activates and returns the airplane to level flight when the airplane comes down below around 30 feet above ground level and the sticks are released.

Experienced Mode
No pitch or bank angle limits so you have total control! You can even fly inverted (upside down) and perform aerobatic maneuvers consisting of loops, rolls, stall turns and more. Panic Recovery Mode can be triggered by switching to Newbie Mode and releasing the sticks.
