 GP PT-19 a decent ARF.

Nicely scale like. I used a RimFire .46 (rather than the suggested .32) and a 4S 4000 mah LiPo. The BEC was selected to accommodate up to a 5S battery. There is plenty of room to shift the LiPo forward and back to center the CG in the middle of the range. There was 2 of the plastic landing gear plates missing from the parts. The bottom of the rudder is "fat" to blend with the aft end of the fuselage and that point is deeply beveled for R/L movement to clear the fuselage. However, that creates three problems: 1) the supplied screws for the Nylon control horn are not long enough to go through the fat part of the rudder, 2) to get the supplied control horn pushrod connector holes centered over the rudder to fuselage hinge line it leaves the two forward mounting plate holes hanging out in space over the taper of the fat part of the rudder. This required cutting out a portion of the rudder at the forward edge and inserting a small spruce piece, 3) the offset of the control horn pushrod holes from the horn mounting plate is too short to mount the supplied control horn on even the modified point on the LE of the rudder to get the connector centered over the hinge line. This required obtaining a control horn with a deeper forward "rake." The threads in the small collar pre-positioned, trapped, on the shaped tail wheel mounting wire against the tail wheel bracket were screwed up and with the thing being pre-mounted there was no way to chase the threads with a tap. With using the RimFire .46 motor I chose to use standard size servos rather than the small ones suggested and I had to enlarge the openings for the ailerons and rudder and elevator servos. Thee were light laser marks showing where to cut the tray to accommodate the larger servos. The aileron mounting positions were stout enough to do this. But the Pacific Rim lite-ply tray in the fuselage was the typical soda cracker strength stuff and the surface ply layers delaminated even when using a sharp mototool cutter. The main landing gear wires are pre-bent so they will tilt forward as it should be. However, the landing gear wires are not marked L & R and there is NO mention in the instructions that the gear must tilt forward. A neophyte builder could install them incorrectly. The position of the pre-installed pushrod tubes in the bulkhead aft of the servo tray was lower than the point of alignment of the servo arms of even the smaller servos and would require a small "Z" bend in the pushrods to operate smoothly through the tubes. This was amplified by using "standard" size servos. All of the covering on the aircraft was as wrinkled as my grannies butt and it took an hour with a covering iron set to low to smooth it out.
