The E-flite® Viper 90mm EDF Jet is the Smartest, best handling, and easiest to fly large-scale design of the popular jet yet! It's a scale jet that flies smoothly and manages like a sport airplane — yet is also capable of extraordinary aerobatics and leading speeds! But what genuinely sets it apart is how easy it is to remove, fly, and land, that makes it the BEST choice for a very first large-scale jet design. Assembly is fast and easy, with no glue needed. The light-weight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now iconic Airplane Studio Design trim scheme from the popular 70mm design. And the 8 factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages, plus control surfaces with pinned hinges, deliver crisp and accurate control at every speed. Functional features consist of flaps, LED landing and navigation lights, and electric retracts with shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts on the nose and main equipment so you can fly from lawn and other surfaces with ease.

The BNF® Basic version consists of a 12-blade 90mm fan, effective 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Bird™ Smart ESC that all work together with the skillfully optimized ducting to deliver an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like sound. With this power system, the Viper 90mm is capable of level flight tops speeds up to 120+ Miles Per Hour and offers great vertical efficiency with 6S 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also geared up with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver featuring exclusive AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. When utilizing suitable transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, present, motor RPM and other telemetry information in real-time — along with optional-use motor reversing to reduce rollouts after landing and for other special ground dealing with capabilities. An ARF Plus version is also readily available for pilots who prefer to install their own choice of ducted fan unit, motor and ESC. In either case, for low-time to skilled jet pilots this design provides a massive EDF experience unlike any other!





 






Exclusive Technologies
This large-scale Viper design is geared up with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it appear like you're flying an even larger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automated self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make this a much easier to fly Viper! And if you do not want to make it possible for the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver normally and only AS3X will be active.
 









Smart™ Technology
The exclusive Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart ESC supplies a range of real-time power system related telemetry information consisting of motor RPM, present draw, overall flight battery voltage and more through suitable Smart receivers (consisting of the AR637TA installed in the BNF® Basic version) and Spektrum AirWare™ geared up transmitters (consisting of the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly. Plus, optional-use motor reversing can help reduce rollout after landing and offers other special ground dealing with capabilities (8+ channel transmitter needed for SAFE select and motor reversing).

The 12-blade 90mm fan, high-power brushless inrunner motor and 130-amp ESC combine with your 6S 4000–7000mAh 30+C LiPo battery to deliver great vertical efficiency and a great speed variety with practically rapid throttle response. There's even room to fit 2 6S 3200–5000mAh batteries so you can run them in parallel to achieve class-leading efficiency and flight times.
