The E-flite® Viper 90mm EDF Jet is the Most intelligent, finest handling, and most convenient to fly large-scale design of the popular jet yet! It's a scale jet that flies smoothly and handles like a sport airplane — yet is also capable of incredible aerobatics and leading speeds! But what truly sets it apart is how simple it is to take off, fly, and land, that makes it the BEST option for a first large-scale jet design. Assembly is fast and easy, with no glue needed. The lightweight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now renowned Aircraft Studio Style trim scheme from the popular 70mm design. And the eight factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages, plus control surfaces with pinned hinges, deliver crisp and exact control at every speed. Practical functions include flaps, LED landing and navigation lights, and electrical retracts with shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts on the nose and main gear so you can fly from turf and other surfaces with ease.

The BNF® Basic variation includes a 12-blade 90mm fan, powerful 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Bird™ Smart ESC that all work together with the expertly enhanced ducting to deliver an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like sound. With this power system, the Viper 90mm can level flight tops speeds up to 120+ MPH and offers terrific vertical efficiency with SIX 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also geared up with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver including exclusive AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. When utilizing suitable transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, current, motor RPM and other telemetry information in real-time — together with optional-use motor reversing to reduce rollouts after landing and for other unique ground managing abilities. An ARF Plus variation is also readily available for pilots who prefer to install their own option of ducted fan unit, motor and ESC. Either way, for low-time to skilled jet pilots this design delivers a large-scale EDF experience unlike any other!





 






Exclusive Technologies
This large-scale Viper design is geared up with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it appear like you're flying an even bigger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limitations together with automated self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch to make this a simpler to fly Viper! And if you do not wish to allow the SAFE Select functions, merely bind the receiver usually and only AS3X will be active.
 









Smart™ Technology
The exclusive Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart ESC provides a range of real-time power system related telemetry information including motor RPM, current draw, overall flight battery voltage and more through suitable Smart receivers (including the AR637TA installed in the BNF® Basic variation) and Spektrum AirWare™ geared up transmitters (including the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly. Plus, optional-use motor reversing can help reduce rollout after landing and offers other unique ground managing abilities (8+ channel transmitter needed for SAFE select and motor reversing).
 



High-Performance EDF
