The E-flite® Viper 90mm EDF Jet is the Smartest, finest handling, and simplest to fly large-scale design of the popular jet yet! It's a scale jet that flies smoothly and manages like a sport airplane — yet is also efficient in unbelievable aerobatics and leading speeds! But what really sets it apart is how easy it is to remove, fly, and land, which makes it the very best option for a very first large-scale jet design. Assembly is quick and easy, with no glue required. The lightweight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now iconic Aircraft Studio Design trim scheme from the popular 70mm design. And the eight factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages, plus control surfaces with pinned hinges, provide crisp and exact control at every speed. Functional functions include flaps, LED landing and navigation lights, and electric retracts with shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts on the nose and primary equipment so you can fly from turf and other surfaces with ease.

The BNF® Fundamental variation includes a 12-blade 90mm fan, effective 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Avian™ Smart ESC that all collaborate with the skillfully optimized ducting to provide an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like sound. With this power system, the Viper 90mm is capable of level flight tops speeds approximately 120+ Miles Per Hour and offers terrific vertical performance with SIX 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also geared up with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver featuring unique AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. When utilizing suitable transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, current, motor RPM and other telemetry information in real-time — together with optional-use motor reversing to shorten rollouts after landing and for other unique ground managing abilities. An ARF Plus variation is also readily available for pilots who choose to install their own option of ducted fan unit, motor and ESC. Exclusive Technologies
This large-scale Viper design is geared up with unique Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying an even bigger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits together with automated self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make this a much easier to fly Viper! And if you don't want to make it possible for the SAFE Select functions, simply bind the receiver generally and just AS3X will be active.
 









Smart™ Technology
The unique Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC provides a range of real-time power system related telemetry information including motor RPM, current draw, general flight battery voltage and more by means of suitable Smart receivers (including the AR637TA installed in the BNF® Fundamental variation) and Spektrum AirWare™ geared up transmitters (including the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly. Plus, optional-use motor reversing can assist shorten rollout after landing and offers other unique ground managing abilities (8+ channel transmitter required for SAFE choose and motor reversing).
 



High-Performance EDF
The 12-blade 90mm fan, high-power brushless inrunner motor and 130-amp ESC combine with your SIX 4000–7000mAh 30+C LiPo battery to provide terrific vertical performance and a fantastic speed variety with essentially instantaneous throttle reaction.
