The E-flite® Viper 90mm EDF Jet is the Most intelligent, best handling, and most convenient to fly large-scale design of the popular jet yet! It's a scale jet that flies efficiently and manages like a sport aircraft — yet is also efficient in unbelievable aerobatics and leading speeds! But what really sets it apart is how easy it is to take off, fly, and land, which makes it the very best option for a very first large-scale jet design. Assembly is quick and simple, without any glue needed. The lightweight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now iconic Aircraft Studio Style trim plan from the popular 70mm design. And the 8 factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages, plus control surfaces with pinned hinges, provide crisp and accurate control at every speed. Functional functions include flaps, LED landing and navigation lights, and electric retracts with shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts on the nose and main equipment so you can fly from grass and other surfaces with ease.

The BNF® Basic version consists of a 12-blade 90mm fan, effective 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Avian™ Smart ESC that all work together with the skillfully optimized ducting to provide an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like noise. With this power system, the Viper 90mm is capable of level flight tops speeds approximately 120+ Miles Per Hour and provides excellent vertical performance with 6S 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also equipped with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver including unique AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. When utilizing compatible transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, existing, motor RPM and other telemetry information in real-time — together with optional-use motor reversing to shorten rollouts after landing and for other unique ground handling abilities. An ARF Plus version is also readily available for pilots who choose to install their own option of ducted fan unit, motor and ESC. In any case, for low-time to skilled jet pilots this design delivers a massive EDF experience unlike any other!





 






Exclusive Technologies
This large-scale Viper design is equipped with unique Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying an even larger aircraft. Optional-use SAFE Select provides pitch and bank angle limitations together with automatic self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch to make this a simpler to fly Viper! And if you do not want to allow the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver generally and only AS3X will be active.
 









Smart™ Technology
The unique Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC provides a variety of real-time power system associated telemetry information consisting of motor RPM, existing draw, total flight battery voltage and more by means of compatible Smart receivers (consisting of the AR637TA set up in the BNF® Basic version) and Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (consisting of the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly. Plus, optional-use motor reversing can assist shorten rollout after landing and provides other unique ground handling abilities (8+ channel transmitter needed for SAFE choose and motor reversing).
 



High-Performance EDF
The 12-blade 90mm fan, high-power brushless inrunner motor and 130-amp ESC combine with your 6S 4000–7000mAh 30+C LiPo battery to provide excellent vertical performance and a great speed range with practically immediate throttle reaction.
