The E-flite® Viper 90mm EDF Jet is the Most intelligent, best handling, and most convenient to fly large-scale design of the popular jet yet! It's a scale jet that flies smoothly and deals with like a sport airplane — yet is also capable of extraordinary aerobatics and leading speeds! But what truly sets it apart is how easy it is to remove, fly, and land, that makes it the very best option for a first large-scale jet design. Assembly is quick and easy, without any glue needed. The lightweight, composite-reinforced EPO airframe is factory-finished in the now iconic Airplane Studio Style trim scheme from the popular 70mm design. And the eight factory-installed digital, metal-geared servos with ball-link equipped linkages, plus control surface areas with pinned hinges, deliver crisp and exact control at every speed. Practical functions consist of flaps, LED landing and navigation lights, and electric retracts with shock-absorbing, trailing-link struts on the nose and main equipment so you can fly from grass and other surface areas with ease.

The BNF® Fundamental version includes a 12-blade 90mm fan, powerful 6S-compatible brushless inrunner motor, and a 130-amp Avian™ Smart ESC that all collaborate with the expertly enhanced ducting to deliver an abundance of speed and thrust plus a turbine-like sound. With this power system, the Viper 90mm can level flight tops speeds up to 120+ MPH and uses terrific vertical performance with SIX 4000mAh to 7000mAh batteries. It's also geared up with a factory-installed Spektrum™ AR637TA receiver including unique AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. When utilizing compatible transmitters, the receiver and Smart ESC supply battery voltage, current, motor RPM and other telemetry data in real-time — along with optional-use motor reversing to shorten rollouts after landing and for other special ground dealing with abilities. An ARF Plus version is also available for pilots who prefer to install their own option of ducted fan system, motor and ESC. Exclusive Technologies
This large-scale Viper design is geared up with unique Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the results of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it look like you're flying an even bigger airplane. Optional-use SAFE Select uses pitch and bank angle limitations along with automated self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make this an easier to fly Viper! And if you do not want to allow the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver usually and just AS3X will be active.
 









Smart™ Technology
The unique Spektrum™ Avian™ Smart ESC provides a range of real-time power system related telemetry data including motor RPM, current draw, total flight battery voltage and more through compatible Smart receivers (including the AR637TA installed in the BNF® Fundamental version) and Spektrum AirWare™ geared up transmitters (including the DX6e, DX8e, DX6 G2/3, DX8 G2, DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly. Plus, optional-use motor reversing can help shorten rollout after landing and uses other special ground dealing with abilities (8+ channel transmitter needed for SAFE select and motor reversing).
 



High-Performance EDF
The 12-blade 90mm fan, high-power brushless inrunner motor and 130-amp ESC integrate with your SIX 4000–7000mAh 30+C LiPo battery to deliver terrific vertical performance and a great speed variety with virtually instantaneous throttle response.
