Overview


The X-VERT™ VTOL provides you all the fun and flexibility of a Vertical Take Off and Landing aircraft without the need for complex mechanics or fancy programs. It also makes the transition between multirotor and aircraft flight as easy as turning a switch. You can take the X-VERT flight experience to a whole different level by including the patent-pending, servo-driven FPV camera install that automatically shifts your FPV camera whenever the X-VERT is changed between the aircraft and multirotor flight modes (FPV parts sold individually).

Streamlined and Simple Design
A lot of VTOL aircraft need complex mechanisms like tilting wings and motors to attain vertical and forward flight. The X-VERT park leaflet’s easy, tail-sitter design and SAFE® stabilization innovation enable it to fly like an aircraft or a multirotor using nothing more than differential thrust and its elevons. The simplicity of this design also makes the lightweight, EPO airframe extremely resilient.

Wide, Pilot-Friendly Flight Envelope
The light wing loading and effective aerodynamics intrinsic in the aircraft’s design play a huge function in making it easy to fly, specifically in aircraft mode. Fast or slow, pilots will enjoy smooth, predictable action at any speed.

SAFE Flight Control Software application Makes it Easy
At the heart of all of it is special SAFE (Sensing unit Assisted Flight Envelope) flight control software that has been skillfully tuned so practically any RC pilot can experience the fun of VTOL flight.

Automated Shift
Making the transition between multirotor and aircraft flight is as easy as turning a switch. The flight controller will automatically transition the aircraft from one to the other using SAFE innovation to stabilize whatever so you can relax and have fun.

3 Flight Modes
The sophisticated flight control software features three flight modes that, along with the model’s light wing loading and effective aerodynamics, offer you a vast array of performance.

- Multirotor Stability Mode
This mode allows you to remove and land vertically like a multirotor aircraft. It’s also fantastic for indoor flight. In this mode the aircraft’s tail stays pointed at the ground while the flight controller uses a mix of differential thrust and elevons to manage pitch, bank and rotation. Pitch and bank angles are limited, and SAFE innovation will work to keep the model in a stable hover whenever you launch the sticks.

- Aircraft Stability Mode
In this mode the aircraft responds to pitch, roll and yaw commands like a normal aircraft. SAFE innovation limits pitch and bank angles so new pilots can experience aircraft flight without inadvertently rolling upside down or losing control. It will also return the wings to level whenever the sticks are launched.

- Aircraft Acro Mode with AS3X® Innovation
In Aircraft Acro Mode the model ends up being an agile, completely aerobatic flying wing. There are no angle limits or self-leveling. The large, long-throw elevons will enable you to perform exceptionally tight turns as well as a vast array of aggressive aerobatic maneuvers. And since you have the forward thrust of two brushless motors working for you, there is lots of speed and power to spare. You can even utilize the differential thrust of the motors for yaw control to perform wild spinning and tumbling maneuvers.

As you fly, AS3X® innovation works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence. It feels totally natural, too. It won’t disrupt or limit your control in any method. You simply enjoy a sense of stability and precision that makes you feel like you’re flying a much larger aircraft.

Personalize Your Trim Plan
The consisted of decal sheet provides you multiple trim scheme themes to select from – a military theme with bomb and rocket decals, and different sport themes with lively colors. You can even customize your trim scheme by blending and matching decals from different themes.
Super-Simple Transmitter Setup
The model comes equipped with a Spektrum receiver that is constructed into the flight controller. It can be flown with any full-range, 6+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® aircraft transmitter. No complex programs or setup is required. All you have to do is designate switches for the flight mode/transition modifications and throttle arming.

Super-Simple Transmitter Setup
The model comes equipped with a Spektrum receiver that is constructed into the flight controller. It can be flown with any full-range, 6+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® aircraft transmitter. No complex programs or setup is required. All you have to do is designate switches for the flight mode/transition modifications and throttle arming.
FPV Ready
You can take the X-VERT flight experience to a whole different level by including the suggested FPV accessories to the space allocated on the airframe (FPV parts sold individually). The optional, patent-pending camera install is servo-driven to transition your FPV camera automatically whenever the X-VERT is changed between the aircraft and multirotor flight modes.
