Overview

The UMX™ Ultrix™ is a smooth handling, very versatile delta wing with aerobatic and 3D abilities that you might not expect based on its looks alone. The twin brushless motors provide an extraordinary power to weight ratio that uses excellent speed, lots of power to hover and limitless vertical performance. Differential thrust adds the capability to carry out harriers, flat spins and more fantastic aerobatics. And very durable EPP building and construction makes this one of the most difficult ultra micro designs yet. The Ultrix manages windy conditions well, assisted by exclusive AS3X® (Synthetic Stabilization – 3-aXis) innovation that works behind the scenes to smooth out the results of wind and turbulence for a locked-in feel — it resembles you're flying a much larger plane. Optional-use SAFE® (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) Select innovation makes the Ultrix easy enough for low-time pilots to enjoy, and the ultra micro size and lightweight building and construction are matched for flying nearly anywhere. Skilled pilots can cut loose inside your home in a space as little as a single basketball court, while large backyards, sports fields and RC fields make ideal outside flying sites for practically everybody. This Bind-N-Fly Basic design is geared up with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver featuring AS3X (Synthetic Stabilization–3–aXis) innovation that works behind the scenes to smooth out the results of wind and turbulence. The result is an increased sense of stability and precision that makes you feel like you're flying a much larger, skillfully tuned aircraft.

If this is your first design of its type, or you desire an extra margin of safety while familiarizing yourself with the plane, you can enable the optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope protection innovation built into the receiver. No complex shows is required.

With SAFE Select made it possible for, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope limits keep the plane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent excessive climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The plane instantly goes back to and holds level flight when the sticks are released and in the center position. It's also handy for keeping the wings level throughout takeoffs/launches and landings.
