You asked, and E-flite® delivers! The UMX™ Wood® X is a scaled-down, ultra-micro variation of the incredibly popular Wood® X 1.2m — and it's one of the most-requested designs in E-flite history. The special wing design combines the STOL capabilities of the Turbo Wood with extra-large control surfaces and a 3S compatible power system to deliver an even larger flight envelope. The UMX Wood X also comes equipped with LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights, and provides real-time battery voltage and other telemetry information to compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters. Since of its ultra-micro size, the UMX Wood X can be flown outdoors in many yards, parks, and sports fields, or perhaps indoors in gyms and other ideal areas. Install the optional UMX drifts (EFLUA1190, sold individually) and you can also fly from pools, ponds, and lakes. It's an excellent option for a wide range of intermediate to experienced pilots, and provides a "moderate to wild" flying experience that no other design can touch!

Practical, capable, and economical, the E-flite® UMX™ Wood® X combines the fly-almost-anywhere advantages of the UMX Turbo Wood with the special capabilities of the larger Wood X 1.2m. Compared to the ultra-micro Wood designs that came before it, its brushless power system features a 3S-compatible outrunner motor and the wing has a reduced span, larger ailerons plus an enlarged elevator and rudder. On low rates, the controls can be smooth and docile. On high rates, they deliver severe 3D ability — to fly as moderate or as wild as you'd like! The full-span ailerons can also be utilized as flaperons for enhanced sluggish flight and STOL efficiency. Spektrum™ AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies are included for much easier flying, and the control unit/flight controller provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry and other information to compatible Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters. Large, tundra-style wheels absorb bumps and provide exceptional prop clearance. Fly from grass, gravel courses, dirt trails, paved, and other surfaces, outdoors in yards, parks, sports fields and beyond, or indoors in ideal areas including gyms. This ultra-micro Wood® X is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it appear like you're flying a much larger plane. Optional-use SAFE® Select provides pitch and bank angle limits in addition to automated self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch to make it much easier to fly!
