New upgrades make this replica of the iconic U.S. Air Force aircraft much easier for a wider range of skilled pilots to delight in — consisting of those with restricted EDF experience. The BNF® Standard design's industry-leading Spektrum™ 2.4GHz innovation binds to your 5+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® transmitter for complete 4-channel control, plus the advantages of exclusive AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. It's 100% factory-assembled and ready to provide an authentic A-10 jet flying experience almost instantly. The fully-molded airframe features a factory-applied "desert camo" trim plan and is reinforced with a carbon fiber enhanced fuselage and nose. Factory-installed twin brushless power systems include more effective 2S and 3S-compatible outrunner motors with bigger diameter 30mm fans, for enhanced vertical efficiency and speed compared to other models in its class — plus longer-than-average EDF flight times when using the advised 450–850mAh LiPo batteries. Use the included fixed landing equipment with steerable nose wheel to taxi, remove and arrive on paved, jam-packed dirt or lawn surfaces at big parks and fields. Or leave the landing equipment off for more speed and vertical efficiency plus simple over hand launches and landings on lawn. This UMX™ A-10 is equipped with exclusive Spektrum™ AS3X®, SAFE® Select and telemetry innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much bigger aircraft. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automated self-leveling that can be switched on and off at the flip of a switch to make this the easiest to fly Warthog ever! It will also supply real-time flight battery voltage and other telemetry information to Spektrum AirWare™ equipped transmitters (consisting of the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, the NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX20 and others).
 







Higher Efficiency
The factory-installed twin brushless power systems include bigger diameter 30mm fans with more effective 2S and 3S-compatible outrunner motors. This upgraded power system setup delivers greater efficiency than the 28mm fans and 2S-compatible motors set up in previous UMX™ models to offer unmatched speed and vertical efficiency, plus longer-than-average EDF flight times when using the advised 450–850mAh 30+C LiPo batteries with an IC2® connector.
