Introduction
The P-51D-25-NA (initial identification number 44-73415) was built in 1944 by North American Air Travel at Inglewood, California, for the United States Army. After entering private ownership in 1958, it initially raced at the Reno Air Races as #55 "Pegasus." It was renamed Voodoo and flew in the 1998 Reno Air Races. It won the Unlimited Class in 2013, 2014, and 2016 and is now part of the Planes of Popularity Air Museum collection in Chino, California. Overview
The P-51D Mustang is one of the most popular and renowned fighter aircraft of perpetuity! Its distinct design resulted in it providing some of the best performance amongst all fighter aircraft flown in WWII. Because of that incredible performance, even today, numerous P-51s are still being flown in airshows and air races all over the world. "Voodoo" is a modified P-51D Mustang that won the Unlimited Class at the Reno Air Races in 2013, 2014, and 2016. Its distinct trim plan is highly identifiable yet is hardly ever reproduced on RC models. The E-flite® UMX™ P-51D Voodoo is an ultra-micro version of the popular racer based upon an updated and updated version of the initial UMX P-51D BL that's even easier and more fun to fly than ever prior to! It's now geared up with optional-use SAFE® Select, is 2S and 3S-compatible, and provides real-time battery voltage telemetry to compatible transmitters. Telemetry Capable
The UMX P-51D Voodoo is geared up with a control unit/flight controller that consists of an ESC and Spektrum receiver that provides real-time flight battery voltage telemetry to compatible Spektrum AirWare geared up transmitters (including the DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, the DX9, NX6, 8 and 10, the iX12, iX20, and others) while you fly.

The factory-installed brushless power system includes a 2S and 3S-compatible outrunner motor. This updated power system setup provides similar performance to the initial when flown with 2S 280–300mAh batteries (an ideal JST-RCY to JST-PH adapter is required), or it's one of the fastest UMX models ever and has endless vertical performance when it's flown with 3S 300mAh batteries!
