Introduction
The Mini Ultra Stick was E-flite's first-ever "wood" PNP (Plug-N-Play) and ARF (Almost-Ready-To-Fly) design that ended up being an instantaneous best-seller when it was released in 2005. It was offered for more than a decade and is still iconic to this day due to the fact that it fit as quickly and in as little time as foam PNP models, yet used the benefits of light-weight, stiff, and strong wood building that provided flight performance unlike similar class fully-molded EPS and EPO foam models. The Ultra Stick 1.1m is an updated and upgraded version that is slightly bigger to provide even much better flight performance with extremely popular and common three or four 2200–3200mAh batteries. It's offered in an ARF version that bolts together and is prepared for installation of your favored power system and electronics, or in a BNF Fundamental version that's geared up with 4 factory-installed servos, a Spektrum Avian Smart ESC and motor, plus a 6-channel receiver with AS3X and SAFE Select technologies. Both variations are prepared to accept 2 extra wing servos for "crow" and/or flaps plus full-span aileron/flaperon/spoileron setups, as well as optional wheel trousers to look a lot more like the bigger Garage 9 Ultra Stick models the design is based upon. That design offers outstanding low-speed characteristics for much easier landings, incredible high-speed handling, and excellent aerobatic abilities that intermediate to knowledgeable pilots will appreciate and enjoy!

Overview
The E-flite Ultra Stick 1.1m is based upon the design of bigger Garage 9 Ultra Stick models and was motivated by the iconic Mini Ultra Stick. In 2005 the Mini Ultra Stick ended up being an all-time top-seller as E-flite's first-ever "wood" PNP and ARF design that bolted together so it could be assembled as quickly and in as little time as foam PNP models. It also used the benefits that strong, stiff and light-weight, built-up wood building used – which provided flight performance unlike molded foam models. The Ultra Stick 1.1m is an updated, upgraded, and more refined version of the Mini Ultra Stick. The balsa and lite-ply airframe is still light-weight yet features stiffer tail surfaces – that set up rapidly and quickly with just 2 locknuts – and a more powerful mounting area for the primary equipment installed with 4 bolts. The one-piece wing is easy to set up and remove thanks to the single thumbscrew, plus it's set up to accept 2 extra servos so you can split the ailerons for "crow" and/or flaps plus full-span aileron/flaperon/spoileron setups.

The BNF (Bind-N-Fly) Fundamental version is geared up with 4 factory-installed metal-geared servos, a 3S and four suitable Spektrum motor, and an unique Avian 45-amp Smart Lite ESC that can provide a range of real-time power system telemetry information with Smart and non-Smart batteries through suitable Spektrum AirWare™ geared up transmitters. It's also geared up with an AR631 receiver to provide fly-by range and real-time telemetry information, including battery voltage, existing, ESC temperatures, and more — plus motor reversing for special ground handling and other abilities — along with the benefits of AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies. Or, the ARF (Almost-Ready-To-Fly) version is prepared for installation of your favored electronics and power system! And due to the fact that it's based upon the design of bigger Garage 9 Ultra Stick models, it offers the same excellent low-speed flight characteristics that make for much easier landings, along with outstanding high-speed handling and exceptional fundamental to mild 3D aerobatic abilities. You can even set up the optional wheel trousers (offered independently) to make it look more like bigger Ultra Stick models! This makes it a best first-ever "wood," everyday sport flying and aerobatic capable design for a wide variety of pilots.
