It had the scale looks of the North American Air travel T-28 Trojan used as a fitness instructor by the Navy from 1952 to 1984, yet flew better than a lot of sport RC designs due to the fact that of its amazing handling without any bad habits. A T-28 AT THE TOP OF ITS CLASS
Updated and upgraded, including a fully-painted, high-visibility trim scheme, the E-flite® T-28 Trojan 1.1m reaffirms its status as an excellent "next action" model for low-time pilots who have mastered a fitness instructor and are trying to find their very first low-wing, sport or warbird model — while broadening its efficiency for skilled pilots with higher speed and higher energy aerobatic capabilities! With a common 3S 1800–2200mAh LiPo battery, the brushless power system including a specially-tuned motor provides a lot of thrust and speed for low-time to intermediate pilots. Or, set up a FOUR battery for more speed and unlimited vertical efficiency without adjustments or upgrades! 4 servos and linkages are factory-installed for complete aerobatic capability to carry out loops, rolls, knife-edge, inverted flying, and more. The composite-reinforced EPO airframe includes more powerful parts to deal with the higher speeds and additional aerobatic capabilities, and for enhanced resilience overall. Final assembly is fast and easy, no glue needed, and the T-28 fits into practically any car fully put together — or the wing can be removed for even simpler transport and storage. Any traditional RC flying field with paved, dirt or lawn surfaces makes an ideal flying site, although proficient pilots can fly in smaller areas such as large parks or sports fields. The T-28 is inherently steady like the major trainer platform, but the BNF® Standard version, including a Spektrum™ AR631 receiver, provides low-time and intermediate pilots the added advantages of unique AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select stabilization technologies. Easy Assembly
No glue is needed for final assembly, and you can have the T-28 Trojan 1.1m all set to fly in less time than it requires to charge a battery! And although it's easily sized to fit fully put together in almost any car, you can also remove the wing for even simpler storage and transport.

They come out of package with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver set up so all you require to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any final assembly, and fly!

This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver including AS3X (Artificial Stabilization–3-aXis) technology that works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of wind and turbulence. The result is an increased sense of stability and precision that makes you feel like you're flying a much bigger, expertly tuned aircraft.

With SAFE Select enabled, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope limits keep the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also avoid extreme climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The airplane immediately goes back to and holds level flight when the sticks are launched and in the center position. It's also handy for keeping the wings level throughout takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Switch Assignment—No Complex Shows Required
The simple treatment for appointing a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select functions on and off doesn't need any complex programs and takes simply a few seconds.

If you do not wish to allow the SAFE Select functions, simply bind the receiver generally and it will work like a standard AS3X receiver.
