Overview
The E-flite Wood X 1.2m releases a new era of STOL plus 3D aerobatic capability. Based on the incredibly popular Wood 1.5m design however including a new wing design, oversized control surfaces plus a 3S and FOUR compatible power system, it offers an even broader flight envelope to provide a genuinely “mild to wild” experience. Hollow-core EPO construction with composite reinforcement results in a lightweight yet strong airframe that's capable of dealing with severe aerobatic maneuvers while keeping the wing loading low for outstanding Short Launch and Landing (STOL) and sluggish flight efficiency. It's also equipped with high-torque, metal-equipmented servos plus the shock-absorbing landing gear of the initial design so you can fly as aggressively as you desire from practically any surface. You can even set up the included leading edge slats for improved sluggish flight efficiency, or the optional drifts (EFL5261, sold individually) so you can fly from water. Include the LED landing, navigation and strobe lights plus much of the other popular functions of the initial, and the Wood X is a model practically every pilot can value and enjoy!

This Plug-N-Play (PNP) design comes out of the box with a factory-installed power system and servos that are all set to link to the compatible receiver of your choice (sold individually). Just set up the receiver, complete any final assembly, and fly!

STOL (Short Launch and Landing) Capable
The brand-new wing design has a shorter period yet practically as much wing area as the initial, plus it features drooped wingtips and can be equipped with the included optional-use leading edge slats for improved sluggish flight and STOL efficiency. These functions, along with the light-weight design, oversized flaps and high-power brushless motor make it possible to spring into the air or float down to land in as low as 2 feet or less.



LED Lights
Like the initial, the Wood X 1.2m comes with realistic-looking LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights that are factory-installed and powered from the flight battery.



Optional Floats
Owners of an original Wood 1.5m design can use the float set it featured on the Wood X 1.2m, or the EDO-style float set is available individually and consists of the needed mounting struts plus a dual-rudder steering system for excellent handling and simple departures and landings on water.
