Overview
The E-flite Lumber X 1.2m releases a new era of STOL plus 3D aerobatic ability. Based upon the extremely popular Lumber 1.5m design however including a new wing design, oversized control surface areas plus a THREE and FOUR compatible power system, it uses an even broader flight envelope to deliver a genuinely “mild to wild” experience. Hollow-core EPO building with composite reinforcement leads to a light-weight yet strong airframe that's capable of managing severe aerobatic maneuvers while keeping the wing filling low for excellent Brief Launch and Landing (STOL) and slow flight efficiency. It's also equipped with high-torque, metal-geared servos plus the shock-absorbing landing gear of the original design so you can fly as strongly as you desire from practically any surface. You can even set up the included leading edge slats for improved slow flight efficiency, or the optional floats (EFL5261, offered individually) so you can fly from water. Add in the LED landing, navigation and strobe lights plus a number of the other popular features of the original, and the Lumber X is a design practically every pilot can value and enjoy!

This Plug-N-Play (PNP) design comes out of the box with a factory-installed power system and servos that are all set to link to the compatible receiver of your option (offered individually). Just set up the receiver, end up any last assembly, and fly!

STOL (Brief Launch and Landing) Capable
The new wing design has a much shorter span yet practically as much wing area as the original, plus it features drooped wingtips and can be equipped with the included optional-use leading edge slats for improved slow flight and STOL efficiency. These features, along with the light-weight design, oversized flaps and high-power brushless motor make it possible to spring into the air or drift down to land in as low as two feet or less.



LED Lights
Like the original, the Lumber X 1.2m features realistic-looking LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights that are factory-installed and powered from the flight battery.



Optional Floats
Owners of an initial Lumber 1.5m design can utilize the float set it came with on the Lumber X 1.2m, or the EDO-style float set is offered individually and consists of the needed mounting struts plus a dual-rudder steering system for exceptional handling and easy launches and landings on water.
