Overview
The E-flite Wood X 1.2m lets loose a brand-new age of STOL plus 3D aerobatic capability. Based on the incredibly popular Wood 1.5m model but including a brand-new wing style, oversized control surfaces plus a 3S and 4S compatible power system, it uses an even larger flight envelope to deliver a truly “mild to wild” experience. Hollow-core EPO building and construction with composite support leads to a light-weight yet strong airframe that can managing severe aerobatic maneuvers while keeping the wing filling low for impressive Short Departure and Landing (STOL) and sluggish flight efficiency. It's also geared up with high-torque, metal-equipmented servos plus the shock-absorbing landing gear of the initial model so you can fly as strongly as you desire from practically any surface area. You can even install the included leading edge slats for enhanced sluggish flight efficiency, or the optional drifts (EFL5261, sold separately) so you can fly from water. Include the LED landing, navigation and strobe lights plus many of the other popular features of the initial, and the Wood X is a design practically every pilot can appreciate and enjoy!

STOL (Short Departure and Landing) Capable
The new wing style has a shorter span yet practically as much wing area as the initial, plus it features drooped wingtips and can be geared up with the included optional-use leading edge slats for enhanced sluggish flight and STOL efficiency. These features, along with the light-weight style, oversized flaps and high-power brushless motor make it possible to spring into the air or drift down to land in as low as 2 feet or less.



LED Lights
Like the initial, the Wood X 1.2m comes with realistic-looking LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights that are factory-installed and powered from the flight battery.



Optional Floats
Owners of an initial Wood 1.5m model can utilize the float set it came with on the Wood X 1.2m, or the EDO-style float set is offered separately and includes the needed mounting struts plus a dual-rudder steering system for outstanding handling and simple takeoffs and landings on water.
