Overview
The E-flite® Wood® X 1.2m unleashes a new period of STOL plus 3D aerobatic capability. Based on the very popular Wood 1.5m model however including a new wing style, extra-large control surfaces plus a THREE and FOUR compatible power system, it uses an even broader flight envelope to provide a really "mild to wild" experience. Hollow-core EPO building and construction with composite support results in a lightweight yet strong airframe that's capable of handling extreme aerobatic maneuvers while keeping the wing packing low for impressive Brief Launch and Landing (STOL) and slow flight performance. It's also equipped with high-torque, metal-geared servos plus the shock-absorbing landing gear of the original model so you can fly as aggressively as you want from nearly any surface area. You can even install the consisted of leading edge slats for improved slow flight performance, or the optional floats (EFL5261, offered individually) so you can fly from water. eXtreme Maneuverability
The Wood® X 1.2m includes a new wing style with a shortened period plus much larger ailerons and flaps, together with a bigger elevator and rudder. STOL (Short Takeoff and Landing) Capable
The brand-new wing style has a much shorter period yet nearly as much wing area as the original, plus it includes drooped wingtips and can be equipped with the consisted of optional-use leading edge slats for improved slow flight and STOL performance. These functions, together with the light-weight style, extra-large flaps and high-power brushless motor, make it possible to spring into the air or float down to land in as low as 2 feet or less.
 







LED Lights

Currently own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make getting into the air rapidly and with the best control experience possible simpler than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, end up any last assembly, and fly!

This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver including AS3X (Artificial Stabilization–3-aXis) technology that works behind the scenes to ravel the impacts of wind and turbulence. No programming is required. Simply change up the binding sequence as directed in the manual.

With SAFE Select allowed, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope restricts keep the aircraft from rolling or pitching upside down. They also avoid extreme climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The aircraft immediately returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are launched and in the center position. It's also helpful for keeping the wings level throughout takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Switch Project—No Complex Programs Required
The basic procedure for designating a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select functions on and off doesn't require any complex programming and takes just a few seconds.

If you don't wish to allow the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver usually and it will operate like a standard AS3X receiver.
