As the primary Close Air Support aircraft of the U.S. Flying Force, the A-10 Thunderbolt II is often affectionately called the "Warthog" due to its aggressive look, and due to the fact that it's a highly precise and survivable weapons-delivery platform. Its twin 11-blade, 64mm fans are powered by high-RPM brushless motors that are paired with 40A ESCs wired to use a single SIX 3200–4000mAh battery. This completely crafted power system produces excellent leading speed — as much as 100+ Miles Per Hour in level flight — and endless vertical performance while also providing class-leading flight times. The different BEC and 9 factory-installed digital servos with ball-link equipped linkages provide exact and trusted control. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the effects of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much bigger plane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limitations along with automated self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch, making this the easiest to fly A-10 yet! And if you don't want to make it possible for the SAFE Select features, just bind the receiver usually and only AS3X will be active.

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope restricts keep the plane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent extreme climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The plane instantly returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are released and in the center position. It's also helpful for keeping the wings level throughout takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Switch Project—No Complex Shows Required
The basic procedure for designating a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off doesn't need any complex shows and takes simply a couple of seconds.

If you don't want to make it possible for the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver usually and it will function like a basic AS3X receiver.
