Overview
The Opterra™ 2m flying wing is the collaborative effort of George Hicks and Mike McConville – 2 of design aviation's premier airplane designers. Together, they have produced some of the best flying RC airplanes worldwide. This one is no exception. Its light-weight building, long wingspan and efficient aerodynamics offer it a vast array of abilities that includes everything from sport aerobatics to skyrocketing. It even gives you the capability to put yourself in the pilot's seat with FPV gear while utilizing a GoPro Hero 3, Hero 4 or comparable class video camera to tape HD video at the same time.* This Bind-N-Fly® variation features the included benefit of a Spektrum™ AS3X® receiver that features optional SAFE® Select technology.

Advanced Aerodynamics and Lightweight Construction
Central to the airplane's fantastic abilities are the sophisticated aerodynamics that shaped its design. In addition to its efficient airfoil, winglets and fins on the fuselage help the design track real in all sort of air. Vortex generators near the leading edge of the top of the wing, and simply ahead of the elevons on the bottom of the wing, enhance sluggish speed stability and control. AS3X® Receiver with Optional-Use SAFE® Select Technology
