BEST OF THE BUTCHER BIRDS
The Second World War Germany's Focke-Wulf Fw 190A featured a fairly basic design that put a big radial engine into the narrow fuselage of a small, single-seat fighter. After the "Butcher Bird" took its very first flight on June 1, 1939, its effectiveness in air supremacy, interception, ground attack and bombing functions led numerous Luftwaffe pilot to gladly trade their Messerschmitt Bf 109s for the new warbird. This first-ever E-flite® Focke-Wulf design is based upon a full-blown reproduction as soon as owned by the late Rudy Frasca. Painted with the wartime markings of Austrian Luftwaffe pilot Oskar Bosch, the reproduction has been flown in west coast airshows and at the National Air Races in Reno. The E-flite Fw 190A 1.5m stands apart from all other RC design versions by delivering exceptional Extra Scale information, functional features and performance in a larger size, while being simple to put together, transportation and store. This first-ever E-flite® Focke-Wulf is also the most comprehensive, best handling and greatest performance RC design of the Axis warbird yet! The Fw 190A 1.5m is bigger than most other designs of the famous fighter, yet it's simple to put together — and to carry and save thanks to its unique 3-piece wing design since the center area includes the primary gear and the outer panels simply snap into location firmly without requiring fasteners. The factory-installed brushless power system with its large-diameter, 3-bladed prop utilizes typical SIX 3200-7000mAh batteries to provide better-than-scale, 80+ MPH level flight speeds and nearly unrestricted vertical performance. It also has more authentic information than most similar class and smaller designs. The long lasting, composite-reinforced airframe includes molded-in panel lines and guns, a detachable drop tank and even more Extra Scale information. Functional Extra Scale features — such as LED navigation lights, split flaps and control surface areas with pocket hinges — take the experience to another level. Besides including realism, the wide-spaced primary gear with factory-installed electrical retracts, long lasting metal parts and scale-like length, shock-absorbing struts make it possible to fly from a wide array of surface areas, consisting of paved runways and grass. Easy Switch Task—No Complex Programs Required
