Motivated by the extraordinary resourcefulness and effort Mike Patey took into building the full-sized aircraft, E-flite® offers the only officially-licensed scale reproduction of the ultimate bush aircraft! The fantastic DRACO 2.0m is among the most highly-engineered, detailed and feature-rich RC models ever produced. Beyond its complicated style and the precise shape of its fully-molded, lightweight and resilient EPO airframe with a factory-applied finish, it also features an abundance of Bonus Scale details including a variety of surface area functions, actions, antennas, wingtip "stinger" skids, and far more. The clear windshield and windows provide an outstanding view of the detailed cockpit with pilot figure and backlit cockpit console. Practical Bonus Scale features consist of certified, scale-like KING shocks on the main equipment and tail wheel, leading-edge slats, slotted flaps and more. There are also a total of 17 LEDs throughout the airframe — with a custom-made controller that permits you to select strong, strobing and other light combination choices from your transmitter. Oversized, tundra-style tires on the custom-made carbon fiber main equipment soak up bumps and supply excellent prop clearance, while the shock-absorbing and steerable tailwheel offers improved ground handling — even when taxiing cab backwards with the optional-use motor reversing (compatible Smart receiver and 7+ channel transmitter needed for reversing).

It's also geared up with a 100-amp Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart ESC, and the BNF® Fundamental version consists of an AR637TA Smart receiver that delivers full-range telemetry including real-time battery voltage, existing, motor RPM, ESC temperature level, and more to compatible AirWare™ geared up transmitters. And even with its large-scale size and feature-packed style, the DRACO 2.0m can be flight-ready in less time than it requires to charge a battery! No tools are needed for field assembly/disassembly since the two-piece wing is secured with quarter-turn thumbscrews. Most importantly, if you've mastered flying at least one or two previous RC aircraft you can fly the DRACO 2.0m effectively, particularly when benefiting from the BNF® Fundamental version's unique AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. Mike Patey was born in Gresham, Oregon in addition to his twin sibling Mark, numbers 5 and 6 in an 11 kid household. Before they graduated high school they had built it into a business with nearly 200 workers. Mike is wed to his better half Chandra and they have four children. Mike's air travel journey started in a 1971 Cessna 172L in 2002 when both Mike and Mark had independently chosen to pursue air travel. Easy Change Assignment—No Complex Programs Required
