Convergence VTOL BNF Basic...

Multirotor versatility and sport plane agilityDesigned by champion pilot, Mike McConvilleExclusive flight control software makes it extremely simple to flyStability and Acro Modes provide a broad efficiency envelopePowerful brushless motors for impressive speed and climb performanceSuper-simple transmitter setup – no complex programming requiredFPV-ready with cam and video transmitter mounting stations

VTOL (Vertical Departure and Landing) RC designs are typically a mixed bag when it pertains to efficiency. If they are stable, their speed and dexterity is typically uninspired. If they are nimble, pilots need to work more difficult to transition between hovering and plane flight. The Merging™ VTOL park leaflet modifications all that. Its unique style and exclusive flight control software give you the very best of both dexterity and stability while making the transition between multirotor and plane flight so smooth and predictable, you will feel right at home your first time on the sticks.

Streamlined and Easy
Unlike complex VTOL airplane that turn the entire wing and require as numerous as 4 motors to attain vertical and forward flight, the Merging park leaflet utilizes a basic, yet streamlined, delta-wing style with three brushless motors – two rotating motors on the wing and a fixed-position motor in the tail.

In multirotor flight the wing-mounted motors turn up into the vertical position to provide lift and flight control together with the motor in the tail. In plane flight, the wing-mounted motors turn down into the horizontal position and the design’s elevons take control of pitch and bank control. Yaw control in plane flight is supplied by differential thrust from the wing-mounted motors.

Exclusive Flight Control Software Makes it Simple
At the heart of everything is flight control software that has been skillfully tuned by designer, Mike McConville, so practically any RC pilot can experience the fun of VTOL flight.

Automated Shift
Making the transition between multirotor and plane flight is as easy as flipping a switch. The flight controller will efficiently turn the two wing-mounted motors into the proper flight attitude and activate the rear motor as needed.

Stability and Acro Flight Modes
These two flight modes give you a large range of efficiency for each stage of flight.

- Stability Mode
In multirotor flight, Stability Mode will restrict pitch and bank angles and work to keep the design level when you release the sticks. This allows you to remove and land like a pro, even if you’ve never ever flown a multirotor before. In plane flight, it will restrict pitch and bank angles and automatically return the wings to level when the sticks are launched.

Stability Mode automatically engages during the transition between multirotor and plane flight. It seamlessly keeps self-leveling and angle limitations from one stage of flight to the other, making this the most convenient RC VTOL experience you will discover anywhere.

- Acro Mode
In Acro Mode there are no angle limitations or self-leveling in any stage of flight. Throughout multirotor flight, the design will behave like a traditional multirotor that pitches and banks in whatever instructions you desire it to fly. It can turn and roll like other multirotors, too.

In plane flight, Acro Mode lets you perform a large range of aerobatic maneuvers. And since you have the forward thrust of two brushless motors working for you, there is plenty of speed and power to spare. You can even utilize the differential thrust of the motors to perform unique spinning and tumbling maneuvers.

FPV Ready
The design is created to accommodate several of the most popular FPV cam systems. There is a video camera bay under the nose and a location to mount the video transmitter in the rear of the airplane. Both places are simple to gain access to so installation takes simply a couple of minutes.
