VTOL (Vertical Departure and Landing) RC models are typically a mixed bag when it comes to efficiency. If they are stable, their speed and dexterity is frequently dull. If they are active, pilots need to work harder to transition between hovering and aircraft flight. The Merging™ VTOL park leaflet changes all that. Streamlined and Basic
Unlike complex VTOL aircraft that rotate the whole wing and require as lots of as four motors to attain vertical and forward flight, the Merging park leaflet uses a basic, yet smooth, delta-wing design with 3 brushless motors – 2 rotating motors on the wing and a fixed-position motor in the tail.

Automated Transition

Stability and Acro Flight Modes
These 2 flight modes provide you a wide range of efficiency for each stage of flight.

- Stability Mode
In multirotor flight, Stability Mode will limit pitch and bank angles and work to keep the design level when you release the sticks. This enables you to remove and land like a pro, even if you’ve never flown a multirotor prior to. In aircraft flight, it will limit pitch and bank angles and immediately return the wings to level when the sticks are released.

Stability Mode immediately engages throughout the transition between multirotor and aircraft flight. It flawlessly maintains self-leveling and angle limitations from one stage of flight to the other, making this the most convenient RC VTOL experience you will find anywhere.

- Acro Mode
In Acro Mode there are no angle limitations or self-leveling in any stage of flight. Throughout multirotor flight, the design will act like a traditional multirotor that pitches and banks in whatever direction you want it to fly. It can flip and roll like other multirotors, too.

In aircraft flight, Acro Mode lets you carry out a wide range of aerobatic maneuvers. And since you have the forward thrust of 2 brushless motors working for you, there is plenty of speed and power to spare. You can even utilize the differential thrust of the motors to carry out special spinning and toppling maneuvers.

FPV Ready
The design is created to accommodate several of the most popular FPV video camera systems. There is an electronic camera bay under the nose and a place to install the video transmitter in the rear of the aircraft. Both locations are simple to access so setup takes just a couple of minutes.

This Bind-N-Fly® variation can be flown with any full-range, 6+ channel DSMX®/DSM2® aircraft transmitter and comes equipped with a Spektrum serial receiver that is linked to the flight controller. No complex transmitter setup or programming is needed. You utilize your “GEAR” switch for selecting Stability or Acro mode and your “AUX 1” switch to transition between multirotor and aircraft flight.
