The three and 4S suitable brushless power system, combined with a light wing loading plus factory-installed metal-geared servos and flaps, offers the Leader mPd 1.4m a wide flight envelope. It's smooth and foreseeable, with power to spare for performing rolling circles, knife-edge flight, and beyond. While you fly, the special Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart Lite ESC can offer a range of real-time power system related telemetry data including motor RPM, existing, battery voltage and more – with Smart and non-Smart batteries – by means of suitable receivers (including the Bind-N-Fly® Basic version's AR631) and Spektrum AirWare™ geared up transmitters. The Bind-N-Fly® Basic version also offers the dealing with advantages of AS3X® and optional-use SAFE® Select innovations. An innovative Hands-Free Servo Connection System automatically plugs in the aileron and flap servo adapters when you install the two-piece wing with just 4 bolts. Exclusive Technologies
The BNF® Basic version is geared up with special Spektrum™ AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it appear like you're flying a much bigger plane. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch! And if you don't want to make it possible for the SAFE Select features, just bind the receiver normally and just AS3X will be active.
