Versatile Gear Options
Thick yard, gravel courses, dirt tracks; you can fly from these and lots of other surfaces that are difficult for a lot of models of this size to deal with. The robust landing equipment is equipped with wheels and oversized tires that absorb the bumps of rough surfaces and offer exceptional prop clearance. The optional float set (EFL5261, offered independently) includes dual water rudders for exceptional steering control when flying from lakes and ponds. And the optional, scale-like ski set (EFLA970, offered independently) makes it possible to fly from snow or wet yard.

Bind-N-Fly Completion Level Benefit
Currently own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make entering the air rapidly and with the very best control experience possible much easier than ever. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a compatible transmitter, finish any last assembly, and fly!

With SAFE Select made it possible for, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope restricts keep the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also avoid excessive climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The airplane immediately goes back to and holds level flight when the sticks are launched and in the center position. It's also useful for keeping the wings level throughout takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Switch Project—No Programming Required
The easy procedure for designating a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off does not need any programming and takes just a couple of seconds.

If you don't wish to allow the SAFE Select features, just bind the receiver normally and it will operate like a standard AS3X receiver.
