Those qualities carry over to this E-flite® Air Tractor 1.5m scale reproduction to make it a perfect scale low-wing design for intermediate to knowledgeable RC pilots. The specially-tuned motor and 3-blade prop are matched to a 50-amp ESC to supply fantastic scale and sport aerobatic flight efficiency with 3S 2200-3200mAh LiPo batteries, or you can set up a FOUR battery for more power and unlimited vertical without the requirement for any modifications or upgrades. Practical slotted flaps improve slow speed dealing with while also using Short Remove and Landing (STOL) abilities. Robust landing equipment and wheels with large tires enable the Air Tractor to fly from paved, grass, dirt, gravel or other surfaces at any suitably-sized park or RC flying field. Versatile Gear Options
Thick grass, gravel paths, dirt routes; you can fly from these and many other surfaces that are impossible for many models of this size to deal with. The robust landing equipment is equipped with wheels and large tires that absorb the bumps of rough surfaces and supply excellent prop clearance. The optional float set (EFL5261, offered separately) features double water rudders for superb steering control when flying from lakes and ponds. And the optional, scale-like ski set (EFLA970, offered separately) makes it possible to fly from snow or wet grass.

The factory-installed brushless power system features a 50-amp ESC plus a specially-tuned motor and 3-blade prop that provide an abundance of thrust with a THREE 2200-3200mAh LiPo battery, or more power and unlimited vertical efficiency with a FOUR battery without the requirement for any modifications or upgrades.

No glue is required for assembly, and since the few parts that need to be assembled quickly bolt or snap into location, the Air Tractor can be all set to fly in less time than it requires to charge the flight battery. Already own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make entering into the air quickly and with the best control experience possible simpler than ever. They come out of package with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a suitable transmitter, complete any last assembly, and fly!

This Bind-N-Fly Basic design is equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver featuring AS3X (Artificial Stabilization–3-aXis) technology that works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence. The result is an increased sense of stability and accuracy that makes you seem like you're flying a much larger, skillfully tuned aircraft.

If this is your very first design of its type, or you want an additional margin of security while familiarizing yourself with the aircraft, you can allow the optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope security technology constructed into the receiver. No programs is required. Simply alter the binding sequence as directed in the manual.

With SAFE Select made it possible for, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope limits keep the aircraft from rolling or pitching upside down. They also prevent extreme climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The aircraft immediately returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are released and in the center position. It's also helpful for keeping the wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Switch Task—No Shows Required
The basic treatment for designating a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select functions on and off doesn't need any programs and takes simply a few seconds.

If you don't wish to allow the SAFE Select functions, simply bind the receiver usually and it will work like a basic AS3X receiver.
