The E-flite® F-15 Eagle 64mm EDF jet is a replica of the world-renowned air superiority fighter flown by the U.S. Flying Force. It's equipped with a 4S-compatible brushless motor and a 40-amp ESC that are matched to an 11-blade fan to provide wonderful speed, thrust and a turbine-like noise. The factory-installed power system and servos help make it fast and easy to put together the light-weight yet long lasting EPO airframe with bolt-on wings so you can be flying in less time than it takes to charge a battery. Optional-use fixed landing gear with a steerable nose wheel is included so you can taxi, remove and arrive on runways, or you can leave the landing gear off for improved performance plus easy hand launches and landings on yard. You can also fly with or without the wing-mounted drop tanks and rockets depending upon the look and handling you prefer. This is the first high-performance F-15 model equipped with unique Spektrum® AS3X® and SAFE® Select innovations. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the results of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it look like you're flying a much larger jet. Optional-use SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limitations together with automated self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch making this the easiest to fly Eagle yet! And if you don't wish to enable the SAFE Select features, merely bind the receiver normally and just AS3X will be active.

The 11-blade 64mm fan, high-RPM brushless motor and 40-amp ESC combine with your 4S 2200mAh LiPo battery to provide great vertical performance and a wonderful speed variety with virtually rapid throttle reaction. Gear Options

If this is your first model of its type, or you desire an extra margin of security while familiarizing yourself with the plane, you can enable the optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope defense innovation developed into the receiver. Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope restricts keep the plane from rolling or pitching upside down. They also avoid excessive climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The plane immediately goes back to and holds level flight when the sticks are launched and in the center position. It's also helpful for keeping the wings level during takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Switch Task- No Programming Required
The basic treatment for assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select features on and off does not require any programs and takes simply a few seconds.

If you don't wish to enable the SAFE Select features, simply bind the receiver normally and it will operate like a basic AS3X receiver.
