Introduction
The Truman Senate War Examining Committee called the North American Air Travel P-51 Mustang “the most aerodynamically ideal pursuit aircraft in existence.” Throughout WWII, it blasted trains, ships, and enemy setups throughout Western Europe. The “D” variant, equipped with the legendary Merlin engine, offered the U.S. Army Air Forces a high-altitude, long-range fighter efficient in escorting heavy bomber formations the entire method to Berlin and back. The E-flite® P-51D Mustang 1.5m also goes the distance — to recreate the well-known fighter with remarkable information, handling, efficiency and existence. It's loaded with Additional Scale information and practical functions including LED lights, sequenced primary and tailwheel equipment doors, flaps and far more, and is also geared up with a Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart ESC to provide an unmatched warbird flying experience.

Along with an accurate summary, it also includes an abundance of Additional Scale information including molded in panel lines and hatches, weapons and removable drop tanks, plus a striking factory-applied “Lou IV” surface. Functional Additional Scale functions consist of LED navigation lights, sequenced primary and tailwheel equipment doors, flaps and more. The shock-absorbing struts feature ball-bearing equipped wheels with diamond tread tires for added scale appearance and make it possible to fly from a range of surface areas including grass, and reputable electrical retracts run the primary equipment and tailwheel. And at the heart of everything is a factory-installed brushless motor that's compatible with 6S LiPo power—just drop in a SIX 3200-7000mAh battery to accomplish level flight speeds in excess of 80+ Miles Per Hour and limitless vertical efficiency! Both versions consist of a 100-amp Spektrum™ Bird™ Smart ESC, and the BNF® Standard variation is also geared up with an AR637TA receiver that uses full-range telemetry including real-time battery voltage, present, temperature level and more to suitable transmitters, plus the advantages of exclusive AS3X® and SAFE® Select technologies to make this one of the most convenient to fly Mustangs ever. AS3X works behind the scenes to ravel the results of wind and turbulence to provide a locked-in feel that makes it look like you're flying a much larger aircraft. Optional-use SAFE Select uses pitch and bank angle limitations in addition to automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch making this one of the most convenient to fly P-51s yet! And if you do not wish to enable the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver generally and only AS3X will be active.

They come out of package with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4GHz receiver installed so all you need to do is bind the receiver to a suitable transmitter, complete any final assembly, and fly!

This Bind-N-Fly Basic model is geared up with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX® receiver including AS3X (Synthetic Stabilization–3–aXis) innovation that works behind the scenes to ravel the results of wind and turbulence. The outcome is a heightened sense of stability and precision that makes you seem like you're flying a much larger, skillfully tuned aircraft.

If this is your first model of its type, or you want an extra margin of safety while acquainting yourself with the aircraft, you can enable the optional-use SAFE® Select flight envelope security innovation constructed into the receiver. No shows is required. Simply change up the binding series as directed in the manual.

With SAFE Select enabled, you get:

Pitch and Bank Angle Limits
These envelope limits keep the aircraft from rolling or pitching upside down. They also avoid excessive climb or dive angles.

Automatic Self-Leveling
The aircraft immediately returns to and holds level flight when the sticks are released and in the center position. It's also handy for keeping the wings level throughout takeoffs/launches and landings.

Easy Change Assignment- No Shows Required
The easy treatment for assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select functions on and off does not need any shows and takes just a couple of seconds.

If you do not wish to enable the SAFE Select functions, just bind the receiver generally and it will function like a standard AS3X receiver.
