This upgraded and upgraded E-flite® EC-1500 Twin 1.5m features a ground-up style enhanced for ability, flexibility, and FUN to provide a flying experience you simply can't get with any other plane! There are eight factory-installed servos, including metal-geared servos on all of the control surfaces plus the practical cargo door so you can bring and drop innovative payloads from the large cargo bay. Realistic-looking LED landing, navigation, and simulated strobe lights are powered from the flight battery so you can fly from dawn until sunset — from paved, grass, or dirt surfaces; off snow utilizing the included skis; or from large ponds and lakes utilizing optional drifts (offered individually). Eliminate the magnetically secured nose cone to set up a GoPro® or comparable camera for taping aerial HD video or install a separate FPV camera on the large leading hatch (cameras/gear offered individually). The functional, servo-controlled cargo door has a 2.5 x 4.2 inch (65 x 107 mm) opening and almost 140 cubic inches of cargo bay volume (cargo bay is 2.5 x 4.2 x 12.7 inches / 65 x 107 x 323 mm). It can be utilized to bring and airdrop whatever from parachute males to candy and other innovative payloads.
There are eight factory-installed servos in total, including metal-geared servos on all of the control surfaces and the practical cargo door. There are also ball-link equipped linkages plus pocket or CA depends upon the control surfaces for accurate control and lasting sturdiness.

No glue is needed for final assembly, and you can have the EC-1500 ready to fly in less time than it requires to charge a battery! The two-piece wing with an ingenious hands-free connection system can easily be eliminated for practical storage and transportation utilizing the thumbscrews, so no tools are needed for field assembly/disassembly.
Don't be deceived by the 60" (1.5m) wingspan — since of its wing chord and area, plus the large diameter fuselage and tail surfaces, the EC-1500 is bigger than it might seem. However, it's still light-weight and incredibly resilient, thanks to the composite-reinforced EPO airframe!

The magnetically secured nose cone can be eliminated for simple setup of GoPro® Hero and comparable action electronic cameras to record High-Definition video while you fly (electronic cameras offered individually). You can also set up a separate First-Person View (FPV) camera in the mounting position on top of the incredibly large, magnetically secured leading hatch (FPV camera/gear offered individually).
Skill Level 2 airplane, like this one, are suitable for RC pilots who currently have some experience and the skills to put together, set up and fly comparable class designs. And although this BNF Basic version is geared up with optional-use SAFE Select, it's not an ideal first-ever RC airplane for brand-new pilots, a "next action after a fitness instructor" design for low-time RC pilots, or very first 3D capable design for intermediate pilots. You need to have the experience and skills necessary to effectively fly higher performance, 3D capable and/or twin-powered designs like the E-flite Twin Lumber 1.6m, Lumber X 1.2m, Extra 300 3D 1.3m, Ultra Stick 1.1m, or other comparable class designs prior to attempting to fly the EC-1500 Twin 1.5m.
